Please read our policies prior to purchasing dahlia tubers and dahlia cuttings. By placing an order you are agreeing to our terms and conditions of sales.
SATISFACTION GUARANTEE: We are grateful for your support, and want you to be happy with your order. We guarantee that our dahlias are true to variety and tubers will arrive with at least one viable eye. Upon receiving your order please inspect your tubers or dahlia cuttings immediately and reach out within 24 hours with any concerns to info@fleurelleflowerfarm.ca.
We cannot be held responsible for improper storage, growing conditions, plant performance, or negligence.
SHIPPING: Dahlia tubers will be shipped via Canada Post expedited mail through Canada only. We do not currently ship internationally due to export restrictions. Tubers will ship mid April once freezing temperatures are no longer in the forecast. We cannot fulfill early shipping requests. You will receive a notification once your order ships with a tracking number. Please refer to the tracking number for a date of delivery.
Dahlia cuttings will be shipped via Purolator or FedEx through Canada only. We do not currently ship internationally due to export restrictions. Cuttings will ship early May once freezing temperatures are no longer in the forecast and temperatures have warmed as they are very cold sensitive. We cannot fulfill early shipping requests. You will receive a notification once your order ships with a tracking number. Please refer to the tracking number for date of delivery, this is especially important with dahlia cuttings as they are sensitive to unstable environments.
The cost of shipping is outlined below:
Dahlia tuber flat rate shipping expedited 3-10 business days: $30.00
Dahlia cutting 2-3 day flat rate shipping for Ontario, Quebec, Nova Scotia & other eastern provinces: $30.00
Dahlia cutting flat rate 2-3 day shipping for western provinces including Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, British Columbia: $45.00
LOCAL PICKUP: To pick up your order at the farm please choose 'pick-up' at checkout. Farm pickup will be available once temperatures allow from mid to late April. Pick-up dates are on Saturdays. If you can not pick-up on a Saturday, please choose shipping at check-out. Please note we charge a processing fee of $10.00 for on the farm pick-up. Payment can be made prior or at time of pick-up.
CART: An item placed in your cart does not mean that item is reserved. Your order is only confirmed once you checkout and receive an order confirmation number and email. Please be aware that if you are trying to purchase many different varieties some may sell out before you are able to checkout. We understand the frustration of missing out on a variety that you were hoping to purchase. We appreciate your understanding and compassion even through frustration. Ultimately, we are a small family business doing the best with the stock that we have.
LIMITS PER HOUSEHOLD: We are limiting the purchase of the very highly sought after varieties in order to help spread the love and share the beauty with as many as possible. Limits are listed in the product title and description. Cuttings have a set limit of ONE PER HOUSEHOLD. Please respect the limits in place. Any orders above the limit to the same household will be fully canceled.
COMBINING ORDERS: Combining orders is as follows: dahlia tuber orders may be combined if orders were placed within a week from the sale launch date and before packing & shipping begins. Dahlia tuber orders and dahlia cutting orders can not be combined together. Cuttings will ship at a separate time. Dahlia cutting orders can be combined together within a week from each other for the same shipment date. If you are placing an order for dahlia tubers as well as dahlia cuttings, two separate shipping fees will be required.
PAYMENT: We accept most major credit cards, and Shop Pay. For quick checkout be sure to have your card and personal information saved on your device as that can be helpful for autofill when checking out quickly. Shop Pay can be a quick option, however be aware that you may be prompted to enter a code at checkout which you will receive via SMS which can delay the check-out process.
DAHLIA VIRUS: According to the American Dahlia Society, an average of 87% of healthy, asymptomatic dahlia plants carry at least one dormant virus. We do our best to keep our plants healthy and virus free. We are vigilant about examining plants for viruses during the growing season and culling any that look diseased. Tools are disinfected between harvesting cut flowers through the season, cutting back plants and dividing tubers at the end of the season. Additionally, we do not allow workshop attendees to harvest dahlias from our field. Be advised that we do not have the ability to test every plant in our field. With that being said, we are not able to guarantee that every plant is virus free, as many plants may host one or more viruses but have little or no symptoms. Buyers buy at their own risk knowing and understanding this information. We do not guarantee a refund for plants displaying viruses.
LIMIT OF LIABILITY: As noted above, there is always risk when buying tubers and cuttings. Fleurelle Flower Farm can not be held responsible for outside factors that contribute to the health and vigor of the plant. By purchasing dahlia tubers and/or dahlia cuttings from Fleurelle Flower Farm, you are agreeing that the maximum amount of damages entitled to in any claim are not to exceed the total cost of the tubers or cuttings purchased. Fleurelle Flower Farm is not responsible for any compensation beyond a refund for the amount of tubers or cuttings purchased by the buyer.
