How to grow
Start seeds indoors 4-6 weeks before your last frost date. Place in a warm area to germinate. Plant outdoors once chances of frost have passed. Seeds can also be direct sowed in the garden. Cosmos can tolerate some cool weather. Pinch plants once they've reached 12 inches to encourage branching for more blooms.
How to harvest
Harvest when buds are just cracking and haven't fully opened as flowers will continue to open in the vase.

Harvesting: cut when blooms are almost fully open, about 3/4 of the way and before petals at the back become papery. Cut deep to encourage taller stems. Dahlias have a vase life of 5 days with daily water change and when kept away from sunlight.

Due to export restrictions shipping is available within Canada only. All orders are shipped via Canada Post. Dahlia tubers begin shipping mid to late April once weather permits and there are no longer any chances of freezing temperatures.
