How to grow
Start seeds indoors 4-6 weeks before your last frost date. Place in a warm area to germinate. Plant outdoors once chances of frost have passed. Seeds can also be direct sowed in the garden once temperatures are warm. Pinch plant once they've reached 12 inches to encourage branching for more blooms.

How to harvest
Zinnias must be mature before cutting. Use the 'wiggle test' by grabbing a zinnia stem a few inches below the flower head and wiggle the stem. If the zinnia head bend and flops it is not ready. The stem should be firm and say upright.
